As we stated in our last post, we were searching for a way to cover the ladder ball sets that would be more durable, but at the same time allow for us to continue to put different colors on the sets.  After looking at a few options, we decided to try and use duct tape as a covering.  We found that it looks not much different than painting them, and more importantly it was cheaper and less time consuming which was a huge plus.  Another aspect that helped us to believe in this method is that we sold one to a customer who loved the JMU colored duct tape. 

We finished the first MVP and sold it at the family weekend football game. The family that bought our product liked that it was JMU colors and that they could show off their JMU pride. However we discovered that the paint we used chipped off when playing the game and we are currently trying to find a solution to this.
